How this alley can stay open on the same street as FWB bowl is beyond me. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the dejected masses, leaving in disappointment because White Sands closes at the ungodly hour of eleven. Eleven. We barely had time to take photos, much less actually play a game. On Fridays and Saturdays they get a little wild and stay open till 12. With the possible exception of the bar, the alley lacks true retro charm unless, perchance, you miss the late 70's. Bland bland bland. The best description I can give this one is "a perfectly serviceable bowling alley for a town with a population of 2000." Obviously, they've gone for the sun loving family crowd. Keep a wide berth.

I do have to make the addendum that I feel the intelligence of their patrons is insulted by their offering of copies of "The Powerful Panhandle Pelican, Your Easy-to-Read Classifieds". I can read "Trampoline, as is, $50, no delivery" without having it dumbed-down, thanks.
