Big goth points go to this one simply for it's location just off the boardwalk where "Lost Boys" was filmed. We unfortunately discovered that, despite indications otherwise in the film, the boardwalk is not open after dusk. Surf Bowl, however, is open well into the night. And you'll be glad it is. The place not only looked retro, but actually was, as evidenced by the fact that our lane jammed several times during play. The ball return was a bit greasy, so bring your black, bat-embroidered fingertip towel. Overall darkly aged atmosphere, with one caveat... there is a Kareoke Bar. Beware.

Feel my disappointment, the boardwalk closes at dusk.
