The lovely little nightling I am hugging (pre-a Shrine of Lillith visit) is my California travelling companion Darcy. We met years ago when we were both librarians. Darcy is a geek goth, literary genius, and slam goddess. Of course, all of that pales in comparison to her ability to assist in the rating of bowling alleys. She has a keen eye for over-worn lanes and a natural talent for knocking pins down.

Co-host and web guy, Scott is also my very own personal boy. He likes to spend most of his time skating or reading slashdot, yet he is still a better bowler than me. Go figure.

The melancholy little boy you see here is Scott. My former slave at the Third Place, he's also a big ol' rock star with Boy Wonder Jinx and maybe, just maybe, if you bowl a 300, he'll let you be a groupie.

Why look, it's half the population of Athens, joining me in the dismal Georgia lanes. To my right is Robert and his lovely co-conspirator, Mary Jessica. Obviously, Robert has forgotten to apply Forrest's Conditioner, as that hand is most certainly not normal.

My Mistress of the Night, Lisa is not only a sultry gothbowl princess, but happens to be married to a boy who bowls more then twice my score without breaking a sweat. He purports to be mortal, yet goes to "work" before dawn, returns after dusk, and stays up all hours of the night. Lisa and her unholy hounds of hell seem to remain under his vampiric thrall, but dear Greg, if you want to maintain a level of discretion, you really must start throwing a few gutter balls.

The eerie creature who appears to be pained by my vice-like grip in this photo is Stephen (pronounce it Stefen or we'll have to smack the eyeliner right off your pretty little face. Go ahead. Just try it. See what happens. Don't say I didn't warn you.) He's an installation artist who specializes in environments including dark tunnels convenient for trapping unsuspecting human prey. Oh sure, he insists it's only art. But we know better. Now.
